Back pain is not caused by poor posture – how we sit, stand, and walk does not cause back pain. Although these movements are often triggers for low back pain in people, they do not cause back pain. This is your permission to relax, slouch and lift with a rounded back in every day life if you feel like it

Scans rarely show the cause of low back pain – although scans often show different conditions in peoples spines, this does not mean that they are the cause of symptoms. Scans cannot predict pain and certainly not the intensity of symptoms felt!
